This is a place where users can communicate with administrators, or administrators with one another. You can report vandalism, problematic users, or anything else that needs an administrator's intervention. Do not report child pornography or other potentially illegal content here; e-mail legal-reportswikimedia.org instead. If reporting threatened harm to self or others also email emergencywikimedia.org.

Just to weigh in: The names he lists are proprietary spellings (FRITZ!, VAIO, HP OMEN etc.). As far as I know, these are not permitted. Furthermore, in the case of VAIO, only the brand name itself was capitalized as VAIO, while subcategories like Category:Vaio advertisements remained unchanged. He has already made several vehement attempts in August to rename my file File:Fritz! Logo 2025.svg. He is also aggressively enforcing the proprietary spellings on Wikidata and the English Wikipedia, even though, according to the English ‘'MOS:TMCAMPS’', this is not permitted or only allowed to a limited extent. "Taliban-related" vandal accounts

In the edit-history of File:Lorn Panh.jpg I stumbled over 4 obviously related and recently created accounts, that were used to add nonsense or even racist comments to files or user-talkpages. Their apparent connection to the Taliban might be an intentional false-flag operation.

This has been resolved. My account was hijacked due to a Google Web Store App I had downloaded on my computer. I haven't had an issue since I've removed the app. I was able to report this to User:A09 via Wikimedia Discord and we've resolved the matter.

I also want to add that this is an oddly hasty request, and the user should've discussed these edits with me first rather than coming to the noticeboard. The edits in question were not alarming to the point that this request was warranted. Basic communication should've been the first resort and it's a disappointment that this wasn't exercised first. -Atcovi (Talk - Contribs) 20:13, 25 March 2026 (UTC)

I cannot exactly confirm that a Google Web Store App was the cause of the problem; however I can say that a usual account compromisation is unlikely (though as far as I am aware local CUs have much better data to their disposal and they also confirmed my findings).
